The past 01 of August I discovered a White rumped Sandpiper in the north shore of Zolina reservoir. It was the first for the place and also for my county , Navarra-Nafarroa!!
What a great surprise watching this neartic species in my local patch!
I had the chance of watching it another afternoon because the bird stayed five days more, so a few birdwatchers made a twitch and got the prize.....it stayed in the same area during all those days in many ocasions acompanied by Ringed plovers.
