Knot in the dock

Saludos!

The past 12 of august I saw a juvenile Knot in the south shore (dock).

It was the first for Zolina this year and a great surprise because in spring nobody saw one around here, and its catalogued as a local raritie.

This wader is regular in my county but only a few appear every year here and more often in the southmost rice fields of Arguedas.

And by the way this is the only picture that we have of this bird in the reservoirs blog!
